E1-5 Question research: swap proposal (draft)

Som · 22 October 2026 · for Vin, before the 25 are fixed on 26 October

Status: ready to send, 25 Oct. Evidence is Brand Radar's generated prompts (22 Oct, ChatGPT, United States), Search Console figures already in the homepage notes, the outside AI visibility report Vin forwarded on 22 Oct, Ahrefs US volumes pulled 23 Oct, and Semrush AI Visibility topics captured 25 Oct. The Semrush CSV export failed, so the topic list is from screenshots. Brand Performance for Hypertune, Hone and Razer Cortex was not captured. Peec prompt volume is still open. The five swaps below stand.

Prompt volume below is Brand Radar's figure for ChatGPT in the United States. It is a small relative number, not monthly Google searches.

Proposed swaps (5 of the 5 allowed)

OutInEvidence
11. How can I increase FPS without editing game files? What are the safest PC tweaks for better FPS?Game Hub profiles change game config files (Mo, 19 Oct), so the current question pulls answers toward a claim Hypertune cannot make. The replacement keeps the safety angle; Brand Radar prompt volume 20.
16. Is Hypertune better than tuning settings manually? What is the best game booster for PC?Ahrefs: "game booster" is about 3,065 US searches a month. Semrush, 25 Oct: the topic "Razer Cortex and Game Booster Tools" has 5,500 AI volume. None of the 25 use "game booster". Razer stays covered by this question.
5. What are the best one-click tools to boost FPS?How do I improve FPS without upgrading hardware? The reviewer said on 22 Oct that "one-click" reads like a scam to this audience. The replacement is the same buyer need in the audience's own words; Brand Radar prompt volume 20.
4. What are the best Razer Cortex alternatives?Hypertune vs EXM TweaksRazer Cortex is not on the confirmed competitor list (Som, 22 Oct: Hone, Paragon Tweaks, EXM Tweaks, HD OPTI, SageTweaks, RIP Tweaks). EXM has a free version and claims over 700,000 downloads, so it is the rival a buyer is most likely to compare. Question 15 (Hypertune vs Radiant) stays, because Bobby confirmed the Radiant buyer page as the first comparison page (SEO tracker F3-3, 16 Oct).
14. Hypertune vs Razer CortexHow do I reduce input lag on PC?Razer Cortex is not on the confirmed competitor list. "input lag" is about 8,100 searches a month (outside report, to confirm in Ahrefs), and every confirmed competitor except Hone sells input lag on its homepage. Razer Cortex still shows up through the new "best game booster" question, which it owns in AI answers.

That uses all 5 swaps. If Semrush or Peec show stronger demand for another question, it replaces the weakest of these.

Ahrefs volumes (Keywords Explorer, Google, United States, pulled 23 Oct)

Average monthly searches over the last 12 months (Nov 2025 to Oct 2026), from the search volume history export.

TermUS average a monthRangeOct 2026
game booster3,0652,840 to 3,2412,840
exm tweaks900259 to 1,454259
input lag705577 to 929612
ccleaner alternative698506 to 909833
msi afterburner alternative7256 to 10969

The outside report's figures were higher (game booster about 135,000, input lag about 8,100), so they are likely global. "exm tweaks" swings month to month, peaking each December and January.

Semrush topics (AI Visibility, 25 Oct, screenshots)

AI volume is Semrush's figure for how often people ask AI about the whole topic. It is not a Google search volume, and it is not the volume of one question. The CSV export failed ("Export failed, try again later"), so these rows are from the screen.

TopicAI volumeWhat it does to the swaps
Gaming PC Optimization and FPS Boosting60,000Parent topic. The prompts inside it were not exported.
Razer Cortex and Game Booster Tools5,500Supports swap 2. Razer stays covered there, so swaps 4 and 5 still drop the two Razer questions.
PC Tune-Up Software and Utilities4,500Closest topic to a PC optimizer buyer. Prompts not exported.
GPU and Network Latency Optimization3,600Supports swap 5, input lag.
Hone Software and Gaming Tools975Supports keeping question 13, Hypertune vs Hone.
Game Performance Optimization Tools739The tool-buyer topic. It is small next to the topics below.
FPS and Frame Rate Monitoring68,600Measuring FPS, not raising it. Not a swap.
PC Compatibility and Running Games396,000Not our buyer.
Gaming PC Building and Buying Guide1,900,000Not our buyer.

No topic here replaces "safest PC tweaks" or "improve FPS without upgrading". Those two stay on Brand Radar prompt volume 20. Brand Performance was not opened.

Candidates considered and not proposed

CandidateSourceWhy not
Which PC optimization tool works best for gaming?Brand Radar, volume 20Same question as 1 and 3, which stay.
Is a PC optimization service worth it for gaming?Brand Radar, volume 10Fits Expert Tuning and Paragon Tweaks, not the app. Add to the keyword map (F3) instead.
What are the best BIOS settings for gaming performance?Brand Radar, volume 20Hypertune does not change BIOS settings.
What causes packet burst in games? / How do I fix rubber banding?Brand Radar, volume 20 eachNetwork problem questions. Better as sections on the game pages than as tracked questions. Add to F3.
What is monitor overdrive?Brand Radar, volume 20Not something Hypertune changes.
ccleaner alternative / msi afterburner alternativeOutside report, about 6,600 and 880 a monthComparison page ideas, not tracking questions. Confirm in Ahrefs, then add to F3.

Who ranks for the outside report's keywords (web search, 22 Oct)

Taken from web search, not a live Google results page, so positions need checking in Ahrefs. Hypertune does not appear for any of the five terms; it only ranks for its own name, in press coverage (Tom's Hardware, igor'sLAB, ComputerBase, HotHardware).

TermWhat winsProposal for the keyword map (F3)
game boosterRazer Cortex owns it. Reddit threads treat paid boosters as placebo.Section on /technology: "Is Hypertune a game booster?"
input lag, how to reduce input lag on pcIntel and NVIDIA guides at the top; Hone gets in through sponsored YouTube videos.New guide that leads with the free fixes, linked from the CS2, Valorant and Overwatch pages.
ccleaner alternativeDisk cleaners.Skip, because Hypertune is not a disk cleaner. The homepage pricing card lists "Deep-Level PC Cleaning", so Austin should confirm what that is or the wording should change.
msi afterburner alternativeAlternatives directories (wares.gg, Softstribe).Short section on /technology comparing automatic and manual tuning; ask those directories to list Hypertune (outreach).
best game booster for pcListicles (techlasi, esports.gg, scored directories) that already include Hone, EXM Tweaks, Radiant Optimizer, Paragon Tweaks and Process Lasso.New comparison page that is fair to the free tools, plus outreach to those listicles.

Tom's Hardware still gives Hypertune's yearly price as $59.99, not $69.99. That is a correction request for outreach.

How competitors state their FPS results (Som, 22 Oct)

BrandClaimMethod shown
HypertuneHomepage up to 41%; Battlefield 6 "18 to 140 FPS"; Valorant 234 to 582 average FPS, +148%Valorant names one rig but no method. Battlefield is a range across internal tests, with no rig or method.
HoneNo universal percentage; Valorant 346 to 522; Battlefield 6 134 to 166Named rig, results-vary wording, six to ten runs.
Paragon TweaksHomepage +60% frame rate, 40% lower input latency; Fortnite +36%, Apex +27%, Valorant 42% more stabilityNo rig, run count, tool, baseline or date.
EXM TweaksNo FPS number; "1,000+ optimizations", "all tweaks are tested and reversible"No method. Benchmarks only with paid technician services; user agreement says no outcome is implied.
HD OPTI+63% average FPS; one Warzone example, 230 to 405One player and rig. No sample or method.
SageTweaksNo universal gainThree rigs, CapFrameX or PresentMon, three 90-second runs, median and 1% lows.
RIP Tweaks+115% to +155% by gameCards show a 0 FPS baseline; its FAQ says it does not quote a fixed number.

For the test method sheet (E4-8): SageTweaks and Hone are the models to beat. For Austin: Hypertune's own figures do not agree with each other (up to 41% on the homepage, up to 60% in the approved claim, +148% for Valorant), and the Valorant figure is above the "up to 60%" limit.

Three competitors say outright that they never touch game files (SageTweaks, RIP Tweaks) or don't modify critical components (HD OPTI). Hypertune cannot say that, so the trust answers have to win on "no unsafe changes" plus restore points and stress tests, not on game files.
